Serena Williams serves cockroaches at her party

American tennis great Serena Williams’ decision to serve a high-protein snack—fried cockroaches at a beach party had her guests shocked with one of them almost vomiting after trying them.

Williams termed the creepy crawly-crunching moments she had with friends as “evolving away from tennis.” In a video she posted on Instagram recently, her friend Justus took the challenge of tasting one. In the video, Justus can be heard saying: “I can’t—I’ll throw up.”

Serena said her friend needed wafer to gulp down the cockroach. But Justus opted for a double shot of liquor. After some cockroach-tasting, Serena joined her guests in moonlight dancing.
