Champions Training Centre (CTC) and Western Railway entered the final of the Joe Fernandis Memorial hockey tournament at Astro Park, Bandra, on Saturday.

In the first semi-final, Ganesh Pillay scored the opener for CTC after which Amit Gowda netted the equaliser for WR. With both teams locked 1-1 at the end of regulation time, Olympian Devindar Walmiki netted the winner for CTC in the shootout. In the second semi-final, WR beat Mumbai Port Trust 5-3. Rajin Kandulna and Harish Shindai netted a brace each for WR while Darshan Gaonkar scored their third goal. For Port Trust, Sagar scored twice while Stephen scored one.
