Fourth seed Dey overcame his eighth seed opponent in just 30 minutes, winning 21-12, 22-20 to lift the U-19 title of the Rs 10 lakh prize money Gautam Thakkar Memorial All-India Junior Masters badminton tournament at Bombay Gymkhana yesterday.

Among the U-19 girls, Air India's Tanvi Lad dropped the first game before beating West Bengal's Rituparna Das 19-21, 21-7, 21-12.
