Ravija Singa, Omkar Nehete rule GMAAA pool

Ravija Singal of Gopi Birla and Omkar Nehete of TP Bhatia won laurels in girls and boys U-17 events respectively at the GMAAA inter-School & Junior College swimming championships at the Mandpeshwar Civic Federation pool in Borivli recently.

Ravija won four gold — 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 100m breast stroke and 100m individual medley race.

Omkar, bagged gold in the 100m breast stroke, 100m butterfly and 100m individual medley and finished second in the 100m back stroke event.
