World No 3 Andy Murray could spring a Shanghai surprise if he withdraws from next week's tennis Masters after reports that his recent wrist injury is still posing a fitness problem.
Murray re-aggravated the wrist during last month's British European zonal loss to Poland in the Davis Cup, where he won both of his singles rubbers.
