MLS permit Beckham to attend royal wedding

David Beckham has scored the world's most coveted invite, to the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

There's just one problem. The Los Angeles Galaxy, his Major League Soccer club, have a match the very next day. Yet to Beckham, both events are important, so he is planning to attend both.

"I go to the wedding on Friday. I fly straight out of London on Saturday morning and I arrive in Dallas before the team on Saturday," Beckham said.
