Neguesha and Balotelli got engaged in 2013, but they eventually split in September last year. Balotelli tweeted: "What have I ever done to deserve never having experienced true love?"

Responding to it, Neguesha hit back with an Instagram video in which she borrowed a line from Timothy McKenzie's, better known by his stage name Labrinth, Jealous: "You just jealous of the way, I am happy without you." The video was later deleted.
Neguesha announced on Instagram that she was at a Paris studio, giving final touches to the song which will be released later this year.
