Ahead of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru`s clash, Gujarat Titans director of cricket Vikram Solanki backed their pacer Mohit Sharma despite having poor form in the IPL 2024.

In the previous season of the cash-rich league, Mohit bagged 27 wickets in 14 innings. He was the joint second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament. In the ongoing IPL 2024, the pacer is not able to build on his strong performance. So far he has claimed 10 wickets at an average of 36.20 and an economy of 10.96.
