Former Team India pacer Varun Aaron feels that skipper Shubman Gill is aware of his role and backed him to play a big knock in the fifth Test match against England.
In India's first innings, Gill lost his wicket in an attempt to take a risky single.
Speaking about his approach on Day 3 of the Test, Aaron told JioHotstar, "I don't think Gill will be taking any risky singles, that's for sure".
