Aussie off-spinner Nathan Hauritz was in the news for the second consecutive day yesterday. On Wednesday, Shane Warne wrote on his Twitter page that he thought skipper Ricky Ponting did not give him the right kind of field positions in a series which India won 2-0.

Yesterday, India coach Gary Kirsten told the Sydney Morning Herald that his batters targetted Hauritz. "We felt that it was going to be important to target him. The Indians are exceptional players of spin.

"'The wickets were offering more assistance to the spinners than they were to the seamers, unless you were swinging the ball prodigiously, and it played into our hands," said Kirsten.
