RGD all set to conquer on World stage

RAHUL G Diwan & Associates will represent India in the World Corporate Golf Challenge world finals to be held in Spain in July 2009. RGD & Associates won this honour after winning the TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge India at the Amby Valley Golf Resort on Sunday.RGD & Associates, comprising Rahul Diwan (42), Ashish Aggarwal (31), Riaz Batliwala (38) and Yohan Peddar (31), tallied 11 points to upset last year's World Corporate Golf Challenge champions Credit Suisse, who finished second. Led by Puneet Matta (32), Shivas Nath (33), Nohar Nath (32) and Rishi Bali (39), Credit Suisse finished with a total of 104. RGD & Associates will participate in the world finals against teams from 25 countries at Spain's La Magna Golf Resoirt. The four-member corporate team tournament was based on the team returning the highest stableford point total of the team members over 18 holes. The format of play was Individual stableford off u00be handicap. The top three cards in every team were added up to give the team its score.TAKE Solutions World Corporate Challenge India is the premier corporate team event in India. Teams from Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Delhi battled on the course for the first two places. Among the corporate teams participating in the final were T&T Motors, Fashion Express, Oracle India and UB Global.
