Chelsea down Spurs to keep pressure on United

Chelsea maintained the pressure on league leaders Manchester United with a 2-1 victory against Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Sandro opened the scoring for Tottenham, while Frank Lampard and Salomon Kalou were on target for the Blues.

Elsewhere, Blackburn beat Bolton 1-0. Stoke and Blackpool played out a 0-0 draw, Sunderland lost 0-3 to Fulham, West Brom defeated Aston Villa 2-1 and Everton drew 1-1 away at Wigan.
