11 July,2024 01:30 PM ISTThe Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy (TCHRD), an organisation based in Himachal Pradesh’s Dharamshala, released a report revealing Chinese authorities' surveillance of exiled Tibetans to collect personal information. TCHRD Spokesperson Tenzin Dawa on February 18 claimed that the Chinese Communist Party targeted the Tibetan diaspora using family members back inside Tibet to control.
19 February,2024 03:37 PM ISTAhead of the G20 Leaders’ Summit in New Delhi, the Tibetan community in Delhi staged a protest on September 8 against the Chinese government. Protestors in large numbers gathered at Delhi’s Majnu Ka Tila to raise their voices against China. Heavy security forces have been deployed near Majnu Ka Tilla in view of the protest. Delhi Police cordoned off the area to maintain law and order. The police have stated that the situation is under control, and looking forward to handling the situation peacefully. Chinese President Xi Jinping will not attend the G20 Leaders’ Summit to be held in India. China's Premier Li Qiang will represent China on behalf of Xi Jinping at G20 summit 2023.

Earlier, he attended the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Central Intelligence Training Institute and the inauguration function of Indo-Tibetan Border Police’s Residential and Non-Residential complexes.
