Speaking at Mid-day.com's Sit With Hitlist, Sushmita Sen talked about working as an employee for the Miss Universe organization which was then owned by Donald Trump, which was not easy as per the actress. According to Sushmita, “There are some people that leave an impression and not because of their achievements necessarily or their sense of power. It’s just the people that they are that you take from them - inspiration or something - that helps you move forward. Sushmita mentioned how her victory cemented a legacy not just for India but also left a mark on the people of the Philippines. Sushmita revealed that there are girls in the country named after the actress! She stated 'This name is a Filipino name now' where girls are named like - Sushmita Sushmita Chagalung Mang and Sushmita Sen Chagalung Mang. The actress also mentioned that after India, Philippines is her second home.
