Sam Pitroda has quit as the chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress amid a huge political row over his controversial racist remarks. The decision has been accepted by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. The announcement about Mr Pitroda came in a terse post on X from the party's communications-in-charge Jairam Ramesh.
