On August 25, 17 people were stranded near Morbi's Dhavana village after a tractor's attached trolley overturned while crossing a flooded causeway. Heavy rainfall caused the water flow to become dangerously strong, leading to the accident. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) was quickly mobilized following the incident. Morbi Collector KB Jhaveri reported that the SDRF has successfully rescued 10 of the stranded individuals so far, with ongoing efforts to save the remaining seven.
