Neeyat, directed by Anu Menon, presents a murder mystery set in a windswept castle in Scotland, where fugitive businessman Ashish Kapoor, played by Ram Kapoor, meets his untimely demise. The film revolves around the guests attending Ashish's birthday celebration, each harboring their own motives and hidden agendas. Enter Mira, portrayed by Vidya Balan, an outlier in the gathering, who takes it upon herself to unravel the truth behind Ashish's murder. However, Neeyat falls short of its potential, delivering only mild amusement and leaving a forgettable impression.
