Akshay Kumar's 'Sarfira' has finally been released in theatres. Co-starring Paresh Rawal and Radhikka Madan, with a cameo by south superstar Suriya, ‘Sarfira’ is an official remake of the 2020 Tamil movie 'Soorarai Pottru'. Following a preview for the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), a special screening for family and friends was held in Delhi, and it left a pretty positive impression on the audience. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the movie is about a common man’s ambition to start his own airline. The Khiladi of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar is often considered as one of the most bankable stars in showbiz.

Actor Paresh Rawal cast his vote at a polling station in Mumbai. His wife also accompanied him to the polling booth. Actor Farhan Akhtar and Director Zoya Akhtar also cast their votes at Mount Mary Convent High School in Bandra. On the other hand, B-Town diva Janhvi Kapoor cast her vote at a polling station in Mumbai. She even appealed to voters to come out and vote. Ahead of the release of the film, the makers have dropped the first song titled 'Har Har Mahadev'. The song is centered around Akshay's character of Lord Shiva. After playing a very subtle Lord Krishna in 'OMG: Oh My God', Akshay takes a not-so subtle approach of playing Lord Shiva. The actor is seen dressed as the widely known image of Lord Shiva with a jatamakuta (a coil of matted locks). In the first song from 'OMG 2', Akshay Kumar is seen dancing amid a sea of devotees. While not much is known about his character in the film, there is a scene in the song where Pankaj Tripathi, a staunch devotee, is seen looking at Akshay Kumar with his hands folded.
