India’s famous sculptor Arun Yogiraj received a grand welcome from the crowd in Bengaluru on Jan 24. Arun Yogiraj has received praises from across the country as he carved the Ram Lalla’s idol in Ayodhya Ram Mandir. Amid Jai Shri Ram chants, Yogiraj was welcomed at Bengaluru Airport. Addressing the media, Yogiraj said that he worked hard for seven months to make the idol. Wife of Ram Lalla idol sculptor, Arun Yogiraj - Vijetha on January 23 expressed joy over people’s response and love. She said that many people said that our house is a Mandir now. "We are planning to go to Ayodhya after a couple of days or so... The event yesterday was very nice. We all celebrated at home with all our relatives, friends and well-wishers. A lot of people came in, saying that our house is a Mandir now and everyone gave us blessings and love. We are very overwhelmed with the response we are getting," she said.

Arun Yogiraj, the sculptor behind Lord Ram’s idol in Ayodhya, touched down at Bangalore airport on January 24. A crowd gathered at the airport and gave him a grand welcome. Arun’s wife and his family also welcomed him at the Bengaluru airport. He was also invited to the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram temple and felt that he was the luckiest person in the world after making Lord Ram’s idol for Ayodhya Ram Mandir. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s funny response at the T20 Summit held recently had the participants cracked up. The EAM virtually co-hosted the virtual town hall at the G20 Summit held in Mysuru on August 03. When asked what keeps him awake at night in terms of the G20 presidency, the External Affairs Minister gave a funny response, however, he listed out the things that worry him in society. “When we see societies today where the basic development has slowed down in the last few years. When we see the ravages of COVID. It will take years for us to come out of it fully. These multiple shocks have come one on top of another. The way the social fabric of society is under stress. It worries me. Because it will throw up challenges in politics and systematically. It is something we need to pay attention to,” said EAM Dr S Jaishankar.
