The 2 youths were a part of a group of friends from Nipani town in Karnataka who were visiting Radhanagari Tehsil in Kohlapur district, Maharashtra for monsoon tourism at the dam. On the same day another terrifying incident happened in Pune. In Pune's Tamhini Ghat, tragedy struck as a man, identified as a trek leader, was swept away by powerful waters. He had been enjoying a day out with around 20 companions, including friends and family, at the renowned picnic spot.
