The synchronised survey, conducted from January 4 to 11, 2026, covered 166 wetlands across 10 ranges under the Eastern Assam Wildlife Division, the Biswanath Wildlife Division, and the Nagaon Wildlife Division, recording a total of 105,540 individual water birds across 107 species
