On August 26, multiple attacks in Balochistan, Pakistan, resulted in 73 deaths, according to Reuters. The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) took responsibility for these attacks and issued a statement after completing what they called 'Ops Herof'. Pak terror attack caused chaos, with people fleeing as separatist militants targeted police stations, railway lines, and highways. About 35 vehicles were set on fire on the highways. The violence followed a warning from the BLA for people to stay away from highways in the area. In response, the Pakistani military reported that 14 soldiers and police officers were killed while fighting back. Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attacks as "intolerable" and promised a strong response to the violence.
