For the first time, actor John Abraham and Sharvari have joined hands for the film titled 'Vedaa'. Helmed by Nikkhil Advani, the film is described as a "powerful story of resilience and the indomitable human spirit." It follows the journey of a young woman, Vedaa (Sharvari), who dares to challenge the status quo. Her fight for justice is fuelled by the unwavering support of a former soldier (John) who becomes her shield and her weapon.' Vedaa' is produced by Zee Studios, Umesh Kr Bansal, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, John Abraham, and co-produced by Minnakshi Das. The film also features Abhishek Banerjee.

Kannada actors Harshika Poonacha and her husband Bhuvann Ponnanna were reportedly attacked by a mob in Bengaluru for speaking in Kannada. As per Harshika, the miscreants harassed the couple and also tried to rob them. She shared her incident on her social media handle and asked "How safe are they in Bangalore?" Speaking exclusively with ANI, the couple shared the horror experience they went through. She shared a video of the incident on Facebook. Sudha Murty on 14th of March took oath as a member of Rajya Sabha. This came days after her nomination to the upper house Parliament. Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar administered oath to the newly elected Member Sudha Murty in the Parliament House. She was accompanied by her husband, Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy, and Union Minister Piyush Goyal. President Droupadi Murmu nominated philanthropist, and author Sudha Murty to the Rajya Sabha.
