A couple from Jaipur, Tabrez and Farha who along with their two children had gone to visit Jammu & Kashmir were injured in a firing by terrorists at Pahalgam in Anantnag district of Jammu & Kashmir. Farha, the woman who suffered the injury came forward and shared her scary encounter with the terrorists. "My husband and I went to Kashmir on 13th May. On 18th May, when we reached our hotel, we were shot at by terrorists. While I was trying to protect my son from fire, I got injured. My relatives picked us up and took us to the hospital. Rajasthan CM from here helped us a lot. My husband's eyes have got damaged and he cannot see now. I underwent shoulder surgery. I request the PM to help us with eye donation." Watch video.

Days after French President visited India, Emmanuel Macron on February 04 hailed India. Taking to ‘X’, he posted a video highlighting glimpses from his recent visit to India during the Republic Day celebrations. Acknowledging India’s prowess, Macron said that India is going to be on front row in world's transformation. French President further highlighted growing bilateral relationship between India and France. In the video, he emphasized that France expects 30,000 students in France coming from India by 2030. The French Prez visited India on invitation of PM Modi and was the Chief Guest at 75th Republic Day Parade on Jan 26. During his visit, India and France adopted a roadmap for the defence-industrial partnership. The 2 leaders also reaffirmed their vision that the India-France Strategic Partnership can help build prosperity and resilience in their economies advance their countries' security, and create a more sustainable and healthier future for the planet.

Jaipur is illuminated with lights to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi's Rajasthan visit will see him attending the three-day annual All India Conference of Director Generals and Inspector Generals of Police at the Rajasthan International Centre in Jaipur on January 06-07. The three-day conference, which will be held from January 05-07, will deliberate on challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence (AI), cyber security, counter-terrorism, left-wing extremism, and narcotics smuggling.

Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the National President of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena was shot dead by unidentified bike-borne criminals in Jaipur on December 05. He was declared dead by doctors at the hospital where he was rushed to. Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph informed the media about the incident. After the information spread like wildfire, Karni Sena members held a protest at the district collectors’ office in Rajasthan’s Udaipur on December 05. Karni Sena President Surajpal Ammu and National President Mahipal Singh Makrana expressed their grief and anger about the matter. Investigation into the case of the Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi murder is underway.
