The Israel Defense Forces has launched a major new operation in southern Lebanon, claiming to have struck more than 100 Hezbollah infrastructure sites and eliminated over 60 fighters during the past week. According to the IDF, troops from the 551st, 401st and 300th brigades targeted weapons depots, observation posts and strategic Hezbollah positions south of the border. A large weapons storage facility in Ras al-Bayada was also located and destroyed.

The ongoing conflict has further escalated cross-border hostilities, raising concerns over regional stability.
