Despite acknowledging paper leaks in Hazaribagh and Patna, the apex court found no systemic irregularities affecting the overall exam. Petitioners expressed disappointment, calling the decision heartbreaking. NEET-UG is a crucial exam for medical admissions, and concerns about paper leakage and malpractices prompted the petitions. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare delayed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) Examination on June 22, originally slated for June 23, promising a future announcement of a new date. Students expressed frustration and doubt regarding the agency's capability to manage the situation. "It's a total mess," lamented one student, reflecting widespread discontent. Another criticized, "This showcases the agency's failure." The unexpected postponement left aspirants in disarray, highlighting concerns over logistical planning and decision-making processes. On the 21st of June, 6 accused were arrested in connection with UG NEET case, being taken from LNJP hospital, Patna after their medical examination. Bihar Police arrested the accused from Jharkhand's Deoghar. The marking scheme of NTA led to a huge uproar across the nation. The irregularities led to massive protests by students and other organisations and ultimately forced the NTA to give clarification on the issue
