U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened to impose 200 percent tariffs on French wines and champagne after French President Emmanuel Macron reportedly declined to join his proposed Board of Peace for Gaza. Speaking to reporters, Trump signaled he would use trade penalties as leverage, escalating tensions between Washington and Paris.
