India's first Made In India electric truck is ready for unveiling in Gujarat. The electric truck has been made by Trinton company in Kheda district. Trinton had set up a research and development centre in Kheda where the company had developed the truck.

As the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) is taking steps toward making public transport environment-friendly, besides planning to fleet around 4,000 e-buses by March 2024 it will soon be opening its door to provide EV charging stations for private vehicles The BEST is working on installing around 330 e-charging stations at 55 locations in Mumbai and 10 will be ready by March this year.
