The division has installed four new escalators, two each at Kasara and Badlapur, and commissioned two lifts at Vangani and Badlapur stations. The upgraded facilities are expected to significantly ease movement for senior citizens, pregnant women, Divyangjan, and passengers carrying heavy luggage

According to the civic officials, the blaze was reported at the warehouse located near Dockyard Road Railway Station on P D Mello Road in Wadi Bunder area of south Mumbai
