The FOB connects Platform No. 1 with Platforms No. 2 and 3. The closure is necessary due to construction and extension work of foot over bridges and platforms at the station

The approved outlay includes Rs 785.35 crore under the General Plan, Rs 28 crore for the Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan and Rs 72,000 for schemes outside the Tribal Sub-Plan area
