On 24th of April, a gruesome murder took place near India Gate, New Delhi. A 25-year-old ice cream vendor named Prabhakar was stabbed to death during a fight near India Gate late Wednesday evening. A case of murder was registered under Section 302 IPC. The preliminary investigation suggests that Prabhat was selling ice cream when he had an argument with a customer over payment. The matter escalated and the accused stabbed Prabhat with a knife, before running away from the crime spot. Prabhat rushed to the hospital but was declared dead by the doctors. The police arrested the accused, who was on the run after identifying him with the assistance of CCTV cameras installed in nearby shops. He has been brought to the police station for further information.
