Air India will reduce international flights till July due to soaring jet fuel prices and airspace restrictions linked to the West Asia conflict. Longer routes have made operations unprofitable, as the airline also faces heavy losses and seeks financial support from stakeholders

According to officials, IndiGo will operate the inaugural passenger flight from the airport. This will be followed by services from Akasa Air and Air India Express, expanding connectivity options soon after operations begin
