Mudassar Aziz's dramedy starring Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor and others, will be released on August 15. After spy thrillers like Baby and Naam Shabana, and real life-based inspirational stories like Mission Mangal, the duo will next be seen in a dramedy on friendships and secrets. Other cast members include Fardeen Khan, recently loved for his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Netflix India period drama Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar and will be seen reuniting with his Heyy Babyy co-star Akshay Kumar. Ammy Virk was recently seen in Bad Newz will be joining the cast along with Aditya Seal and Pragya Jaiswal. Fans were overwhelmed to see Akshay Kumar after a long time. The easiest way to be an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community is by learning more about them and supporting them in every way possible. Since June is celebrated as Pride Month, here are some movies of recent times which were praised for showcasing the realities of the community. Films have always been used as a medium to narrate real-life stories, real-life struggles and real issues of the society. One such attempt has been to raise awareness about the LGBTQIA+ community. Long underrepresented in mainstream cinema, in recent times, we have seen more films and shows on OTT around characters portraying the realities of the community.
