In a tragic incident in Malad East, two workers lost their lives and two others got injured after a portion of a building slab collapsed on 5th September, Thursday. The Malad building collapse happened around 12:10 pm. The construction was underway at the Navjeewan building in the Govind Nagar area. Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, and the injured workers were rushed to M W Desai Hospital. Sadly, doctors confirmed the deaths of two of the injured workers. The condition of the other two workers is still being monitored. The incident was reported to the BMC's 1916 toll-free number. Known as the "Black Mama" of the Indian western music industry, Malad-based Keshia B has built an audience for her deep, soulful voice. Christmas in Mumbai, her R&B soul single, is her debut original song which she released last year in December. The 32-year- old who has been a part of church choirs and carol singing groups in her area. "But when you listen to the song," she says, "it talks about how it was to live in Mumbai during the pandemic, how people have changed and what it means to celebrate a festival now.
