In response, a heavy police force was deployed to the scene, where officers used lathi charges and tear gas to disperse the angry crowd and restore order. Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi visited the area and confirmed that six individuals directly involved in the stone-throwing have been arrested.
