Several Units of the Delhi Police and the National Security Guard carried out a security mock drill in Delhi on May 03. During the mock drill, Delhi Police and NSG cordoned off the Parliament building for the drill. Choppers Swung in action and Black Cat commands rappelled down the ropes on Parliament building. The mock drill comes at a time when the nation is celebrating biggest festival of democracy, Lok Sabha Elections. Black Cat commandos are specialized and well-trained in counterterrorism operations in different landscapes. Federal contingency world class zero error force deals with anti-terrorist activities in all its manifestation. NSG is a force specially equipped and trained to deal with specific situations to thwart serious acts of terrorism.

Ayodhya is all set for the historic Ram Temple consecration ceremony which is scheduled for January 22. Ahead of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, preparations are almost done amid tight security arrangements. Ayodhya will be fortified ahead of the Ram Temple’s inauguration ceremony with foolproof security cover. Uttar Pradesh’s Anti-Terror Squad deployed in Ayodhya on Jan 16 to boost the security cover in the city. UP Police has also introduced Artificial Intelligence based anti-mine drones to provide 360-degree security cover. Ayodhya is under the watchful eye of drones, trained security forces equipped with artificial intelligence. 7-days Vedic rituals for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya Ram Mandir began on January 16. PM Narendra Modi also began an 11-day religious exercise ahead of the Ram Temple consecration ceremony.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on September 14 attended NSG’s ‘Gandiv-5 program’. NSG in a joint operation with UP police conducted mock drills to avoid any untoward situation. Helicopter operations were carried out at UP Police Headquarters and Vidhan Sabha. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also briefed about the mock drills, and operations by NSG. The commandoes carried out various counter-terror drills to avoid any untoward situation.
