Judges ruled on Monday that Qatada could stay in the UK as they could not be sure that evidence from witnesses who had been tortured would not be included in a retrial back in Jordan.
The decision is a slap in the face to the British public, who now face paying more money towards vile Qatada’s benefits and house. Taxpayers will now have to fork out £5 million (Rs 43.6 crore) a year on surveillance after a judge ruled that the Al Qaeda preacher must be released.
