Police in Mumbai have registered a case against six people, a hospital, a pharma company and a medical supplier for selling fake iron deficiency injections.
A Pune-based pharmaceutical company that manufactures injections for iron deficiency complained to the Food and Drug Administration earlier that “fake injections” were being sold in the market with their brand name. The complaint led to an investigation and the trail has finally ended with the police finding out that a Palghar company has been making these injections. A case has been registered at Malad police station but no arrests have been made, say reports.
