Tutor poses as cop to get an auto!

The culprit picked fights with police personnel after they refused to help him in his quest

Delhi police personnel had a rather unusual problem on their hands on the night of February 18. A man posing as a sub inspector asked an on duty constable to hire an auto for him. The constable refused to comply and said that he must hire the auto himself.

When the SHO asked the 'SI' about his whereabouts, the culprit again chided the SHO and said that he had very strong links and could get him transferred. Hearing these words the cops decided to investigate about the 'sub inspector'.
After a few phone calls the cops received information that there in no sub inspector by that name and in the batch mentioned by the culprit. The cops immediately took him to the police station and asked him strictly about his antecedents. This time the miscreant said that he is a professor.

But a few hours later he confessed that his name is Rajesh Shukla and he is a resident of UP. The accused runs a coaching institute in Delhi for UPSC competitions and always carried a fake police I-card. "We have registered an FIR under section 491 of IPC and have arrested the accused. He has been sent to jail," confirmed a police official.
