"Sana's father was interrogated thrice by the police on Tuesday. Shobhit's family had complained that he used to call him on his cellphone to threaten him as he did not like the relationship between Sana and Shobhit. Sana's father had told Shobhit that he knew senior officials in the Crime Branch and that he should be ready to face dire consequence if he did not severe relations with Sana," said a police official.
Meanwhile, there were reports that police had arrested three persons in connection with the murder but DCP Chhaya Sharma plainly rejected these claims. She said, "No one has been arrested by the police so far."
The official said two vagabonds who were detained have also been set free. They were detained after police traced their call and found it to be made from the crime scene. The official said that the duo did not divulge any information in connection with the murder though they were interrogated several times.
A police team which had gone to Faridabad in search of a suspect also failed in their attempt. A official of the team said they had gone there following an input regarding a criminal who could be behind the incident but he wasn't found there.
