Unidentified men barged into a cloth shop in Dabri area of south-west Delhi and decamped with cash worth Rs 35 lakh.

Police saidu00a0 that the incident came to light at around 9.15 am on Thursday when the owner Khusiram Tayal reached the spot and open the shop. He found one of the walls of his establishment broken and cash missing from the safe.



Tayal has three sons who deal in garments and property from their two shops which are adjacent to each other.

"The wall near the staircase was broken and the burglars used it to get inside the cloth shop," said a senior police official, adding the cash kept at the shop was to make the payment for a property they were planning to buy.

Tayal's three sons had left the shop at around 11 pm last night for their residence in Vijay Vihar. A case has been registered.
