Jaisingh Mapari, the sarpanch of village Ralegansiddhi and anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare's close aide, is contesting the Zilla Parishad election on a Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) ticket.u00a0

Mapari also said that Hazare had made it very clear that he had no issues withu00a0any political party and readily gave him permission to contest the poll.
