Protests around Vidhana Soudha banned

City police commissioner S M Bidri said many political parties, students and workers unions are likely to hold protests in front of the Vidhana Soudha which may disrupt the proceedings.

There are also chances of some mischief elements creating law and order problems endangering public property.

Bidri said any kind of protest with more than five persons' meetings, carrying placards, shouting slogans or playing music are banned.
