Protests around Vidhana Soudha banned
Prohibitory orders under section 144 have been clamped within the one-kilometer radius of Vidhana Soudha ahead of tomorrow's budgetary session.

City police commissioner S M Bidri said many political parties, students and workers unions are likely to hold protests in front of the Vidhana Soudha which may disrupt the proceedings.

There are also chances of some mischief elements creating law and order problems endangering public property.

Bidri said any kind of protest with more than five persons' meetings, carrying placards, shouting slogans or playing music are banned.
