Sharada Chavan, proprietor of Namrata Drycleaners where Dayanand Patil works as an independent tailor, said, "Dayanand has been working outside our shop for the last two-and-a-half years. In these years, he had not taken any long leave or told us that he had gone to any foreign country."
“He comes to work at 10 am and leaves by 7 pm. And though he is from Karnataka, his language of communication is Marathi,” Chavan said.u00a0
