The incident took place at 1.30 am near Chikbellapur when Obala Reddy (32), Rajashekar (20), Pullaiaha (60), and Porthalaiah (40) were returning back to their village in Ananthpura district after selling their yield in the city at KR Market.
Eshwar Reddy, Obala's cousin, said, "It was a quite a serious accident and could have turned fatal."
Dr Shankar, medical officer at Bowring hospital, said, "They have suffered numerous injuries.

They'll be transferred to National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Science (NIMHANS) if their condition worsens."
No police case has been registered against the truck driver yet.
