A fire broke out in the finance Ministry this morning, a fire brigade official said

The blaze was reported from the ground floor room of the ministry in North Block at around 5:45 am and six fire tenders were rushed to the spot.u00a0

No one was injured in the incident but furnitures, computer and all files were gutted in the blaze.u00a0

Cause of the fire is suspected to be short circuit.
