The officers discussed ways to tackle terror and other crimes







u00a0The 13-member team from the US met Commissioner B K Gupta and other top officials, including special commissioners and joint commissioners.

"Both sides exchanged views regarding measures to tackle terror and other crimes, such as robbery and murder. Delhi Police made a presentation before the visiting team, during which they explained their modernisation programme," said a senior police officer.

On Tuesday, the FBI team had visited National Security Guards (NSG) headquarters and held similar discussions with the force's top brass. They are now headed to Mumbai, where they will meet senior officials of Mumbai Police and Anti-Terrorism Squad.

"As many as 39 officers drawn from various forces had undergone training in the US earlier. In March this year, the FBI, in partnership with the Home Ministry, conducted a five-day law enforcement exchange, focusing on crime scene management and evidence collection techniques Chandigarh," said the officer.
