Kerela: BJP president Amit Shah on Saturday attacked the CPI-M led Kerala government accusing it of giving "patronage" to people who attack BJP party workers.

"The state government is giving patronage to those who are attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in the state," Shah said addressing a BJP public gathering.

He also said that the crime of giving patronage to killers is the worst practice and the entire nation is "watching the act" of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) government.

He also hailed the people of Kerala for giving 15 per cent votes to the party in the recently held assembly elections, and said, "Kozhikode is a sacred place for BJP and the party will form the next government in Kerala."
