In a joint operation of Jharkhand police and paramilitary forces, 59 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were recovered from Maoist-hit Latehar district of Jharkhand on Friday, the police said
The seized IEDs, which included 14 pressure cooker bombs and seven cylinder bombs, were defused by the bomb disposal team.
Maoist guerrillas are active in 18 of the 22 districts of Jharkhand.
