The Chicken for Indian Soul workshop aims to help you write tales of inspiration and learning, experiences that have taught to go on despite all odds and introduce strengths within you that did not exist. American essayist and philosopher Ralph W. Emerson once said. "There is a great deal of poetry and fine sentiment in a chest of tea." Well, not every Indian knows of Emerson but they have been acquainted with the truth behind those lines for ages. Now, it's Canada based Indian artist Anjum Siddiqui's turn to brew creativity out of this 'elixir of life.'u00a0 With tea as the centre stage of her artworks, Anjum has romanticised and emphasised the importance of tea in her paintings showcased at a exhibition titled 'Ode to Tea.' The show is going to be all about Tea- an all time favourite- a brew that has warmed many hearts and invigorated the spirits of many. " I have used tea leaves for some of my works including Indian and British tea. The works basically tell a story about the evolution of Indian tea. This apart, you will get to sip a whole lot of other flavours including Welbech winter bud nilgiri, Langlai organic tea, Telangana estate low grown tea which is from Sri Lanka and Narayanpur Assam orthodox strong tea among many others," she signs off.
